Advanced air mobility · Austin, Texas

Vertiport sites that are ready to build, and ready to fund.

Funded. Compliant. On target.

Air taxis and other electric aircraft are coming to Texas. Meret helps communities and property owners pick the right sites, assemble the compliance work, line up an installation partner, and find the funding that fits.

Services

From a promising site to a funded, compliant vertiport

One point of contact for the parts of a vertiport project that tend to fall between the cracks.

  1. 01

    Site identification

We look at candidate locations, such as rooftops, parking structures, hospital campuses, airports and open land, and help you narrow the list to sites worth pursuing.

  2. 02

    Compliance packages

We pull together the documentation a site needs, organized around FAA vertiport design guidance and the state and local requirements that apply, so reviewers get a complete, orderly package.

  3. 03

    Installation coordination

We work alongside an installation partner who builds the vertiport, keeping scope, schedule and paperwork aligned from design through completion.

  4. 04

    Funding strategy

How a site is used can change what it qualifies for. Prioritizing emergency medical services, for example, can open funding sources you might not know you're eligible for. We help you find and apply for them.

  5. 05

    Annual recertification

Many funding programs require ongoing reporting. We handle the yearly recertification so your site stays eligible.

How it works

A clear path, step by step

  1. Discover

We learn your goals, your property or region, and the role you want air mobility to play: emergency medical, public transit, commercial, or a mix.

  2. Assess & select

We evaluate candidate sites and recommend the ones that best fit your goals, constraints and funding opportunities.

  3. Package & fund

We prepare the compliance package and match the project to funding sources, then help you put together the applications.

  4. Build

We coordinate with the installation partner so the work matches what was planned, documented and funded.

  5. Stay eligible

After opening, we keep up with annual recertification and reporting so funding stays in place.

About

Jo Marquardt, MPSA, PMP Founder

More than 20 years helping state transportation agencies plan, fund and deliver capital programs, including federal-aid reimbursement and capital infrastructure planning.

Meret AAM Enterprises is based in Austin. Jo founded it to bring a fiscal and compliance focus to vertiport projects, where siting, paperwork and funding all have to line up.

Jo is a technical program and project manager with 23+ years of professional experience. Much of it has been on state Department of Transportation programs: capital infrastructure planning, federal-aid reimbursement management systems, engineer's-estimate and specifications processes rolled out statewide, and transportation research reporting.

She holds a Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Her federal-aid reimbursement work spans more than half a dozen state transportation agencies.

She has managed multi-million-dollar projects on time and on budget, handling contract scope, change orders, risk logs and requirements traceability, the same discipline that goes into a solid compliance package.
